    9 mediocre miles...

    So I was suppose to run 12mi yesterday, but I only made it 9. The sun was setting and my feet were going numb.... Sometimes I don't know if I can do 26.2...... The  half, yes..... But that's not an option now. I still have till October 14, but this is slow coming.... Sigh.

    Anyone have any motivation? Tips for 26.2 novices? Help.

      

     

    Dr. Christian Troy (Julian McMahon,) motivation to workout if I've ever seen it...

    Now I'm off to do an ab workout and some plyometrics!

    "Where dreams become heart attacks..."

    So I was browsing through some of the featured weblogs this morning and stumbled upon this little gem: thisiswhyyourefat.com compliments of the user "IReallyLikeFood."

    Under any other circumstances I would check out the website, agree that the food there is horriying, and move on with my life. But the blogger (and most of the comments) were talking about which foods looked the best.

    Sick.

    I'm going to give you alittle preview of what was on the site. Let me know what you think..

    Delicious or Disguisting?

    Could this be why 80% of US adults will be considered overweight or obese by 2012?

    Food for thought.

    "The Pink Panther" - A brioche bun with cotton candy filling.

    "The Spamsicle" - Deep fried Spam on a stick

    "The Royal Flush" - 3 sunny side up eggs, beans, red chile sauce, cheddar cheese, 4 tortillas, 3 hash browns

    "The Flapjack Fiasco" - Layers from bottom to top: pancake; cookie dough; pancake; peanut butter and jelly; pancake; chocolate and bananas; pancake; caramel, oreo, marshmallow, sprinkles, M&M’s; pancake; caramel buttercream frosting granished with Trix cereal.

    Alright, this is motivation enough for my 5 miler....
